Exodus

EXODUS 38-40

PASTOR’S NOTES

Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.”

As we close the year, we also close our study in Exodus. I want to personally thank everyone who dedicated themselves to this study.  I am thankful for all those who read our weekly devotions, attended services, read in advance, and attended small group to discuss this amazing book.  As a pastor and follower of Jesus, Exodus blessed and grew me in ways I could not have imagined!

The book of Exodus is an amazing book of adventure and faith. Each and every week, people of today could easily draw from God’s word and apply it to their own adventure in faith. Exodus also highlighted God’s rich goodness, perfect parenting, and love of His people.  There was not a chapter that did not show God’s wonderful love of His children.

Lastly, Exodus points us to the coming savior! Exodus, through the character of Moses, the high priest, and the law that was made, everything points to the power of Christ!  Even though the book did not call Christ by name, it would be impossible for believers not to see Him throughout the entire story.

As we come to a close, I hope you grew closer to the Lord and in knowledge of His word.  I pray also that you saw that every verse holds life changing messages and power.  Nothing in God’s word is worth passing over.  Every chapter and verse holds more sermons than we could count.

As we go into 2023, I hope you join us for more sermons series in Ephesians, 1&2 Timothy, and Titus.
